José Bardina (March 27, 1939 – December 18, 2009) was a Spanish-Venezuelan actor who was a television leading figure.
A native of Barcelona, Spain, Bardina was raised in Caracas, Venezuela.
Television career
[edit]He was best known for playing major roles on several soap operas, and was best loved by audiences for his natural charm and the romantic rapport he shared with his female co-stars, like Marina Baura, Lupita Ferrer and Doris Wells.
He was popular in Venezuela, and also in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Spain, after the telenovelas produced by Radio Caracas Televisión and Venevisión reached its peak during the 1970s decade.[1]
Death

Born in Barcelona (Spain). He was the first of four children of the Barcelona Football Club player José Bardina Bellera. He studied until the third year of baccalaureate and did accounting studies. Later he went on to study interpretation at the Juana Sujo Theater School from 1958 to 1966.
He began his career as an actor in the theater and in 1961 he made his television debut on the RCTV network. In 1965 he played a character known as The Hawk. Then she went on to work in the world of telenovelas, being the first one in her curriculum single mothers and starring, along with the Venezuelan-Spanish actress Marina Baura, several written by Delia Fiallo and that obtained a great success. He married the also actress Amelia Román, with whom he had a son, José Alberto.
