MTV's 'The Real World' Atlanta adds Potterville man to cast, a fourth generation farmer

POTTERVILLE — A man with small-town roots has been selected as a cast member for one of MTV's most successful reality shows.

Potterville resident Clint Wright, 29, has been named one of seven cast members for MTV's "The Real World."

The show, now in its 33rd season, will take place in Atlanta but won't be broadcast on TV. It will debut June 13 on Facebook Watch, the social media platform's free video service.

Wright lives on a dirt road in Potterville and is a fourth generation farmer at Wright's Farm. He said Tuesday the MTV exposure didn't deter him from being his carefree self.

"The people who know me who watch the show will say, 'Yeah, that’s Clint,'” Wright said. "I think it would be harder if you were acting like someone you aren't (away from the show). I was just myself every day."

Starting June 13, scenes from "The Real World" will air on Facebook Watch, along with full 30-minute episodes each Thursday.

Facebook Watch can be accessed for free at facebook.com/watch or with the mobile app. For more information about the app, visit bit.ly/2WNkYYc.

MTV has finished filming the show, but hasn't told cast members what footage it will air in each episode, Wright said.
